I have a little 8 year old girl who needs volleyball shorts. She weighs around 50 pounds but usually wears shorts and cropped pants quite comfortably. After reading reviews saying they are big, I bought the XS shorts for volleyball games. They fit almost perfectly. They are snug throughout, just like volleyball shorts should be, except there is some room at the bottom of the legs, but nothing too flashy or weird.
