Review on Rexing Degree Supercapacitor G Sensor Recording by Charles Alfian

Affects tire pressure monitoring system - violates FCC rules

I recently installed this camera on my Ford F150 and soon had problems with TPMS sensors randomly failing. After sending my truck to the dealer twice, they couldn't find the problem. I decided to investigate further and used my spectrum analyzer to see if anything was causing interference near the TPMS frequency (315MHz). In testing, I found that the TPMS sensors measured an average of -73dBm (SA on the center console next to the RTM), while this camera produced a -78dBm signal at 312MHz. This was about 1 meter away from the camera. Disabling the rear camera didn't seem to help and the interference only started when the front camera sensor became active at boot. This level of interference violates 47 CFR Part 15 of the FCC Rules and poses a safety hazard by causing the safety system to malfunction. These cameras must be recalled and repaired/replaced. EDIT: Since posting this review, Rexing has been constantly spamming me with a written email trying to get me to change my review of this product. This has been reported to Revain as a direct violation of their policy, but they have done absolutely nothing about it. Don't buy from Rexing as the quality isn't great and Revain should actually enforce their policies and not give in to popular/profitable suppliers. Interferences caused by this product have been reported to the appropriate authorities as they pose a safety hazard. I wouldn't buy this again.
