Review on BTECH MURS-V1 License-Free Two-Way Radio – Ideal for Manufacturing, Retail, Personal, and Business Use by Niranjan Reynolds

Very unreliable!: Portable audio and video

They have very poor quality, cheap quality, and problems receiving and transmitting traffic. The belt clips are made of thin plastic and are attached with tiny screws (about the size of a pair of glasses). On the first pair I ordered, the screw heads broke when I tried to screw them in. I'm not a savage and I understand pressure and torque as I'm a trained technician, the screws were just cheap metal and not well aligned. with holes for clips and the back of the radio. Also for the first time the radio came without antennas. They sent me the missing equipment free of charge and in a timely manner. So far no problems with their customer service. Unfortunately the radio doesn't work very well. They seem to be having trouble transmitting and receiving which makes their radio terrible because that's literally all I need from them. I have MURS compatible because we use the MURS alarm detection system at work which only seems to work half the time with these radios. There was no rhyme or reason as to why they passed or when. What often happens is that the indicator light on the radio comes on but there is no audio transmission. Our original MURS radios picked up a signal, but sometimes there was no sound when transmitting BTECH. NOT RECOMMENDED!
