I'm a big fan of old fashioned twin blade razors. I've been using them for years and in my opinion Schick, Gillette and the rest of the major league commercial razors don't even come close. Sure, it's not a high-end Merkur, but it's remarkable value, and it's a good, solid, good-looking razor nonetheless. Also, it's not so much about the razor as it is about the specific blades you use. I personally choose Shark Blades and Feather Blades. The feathers' blades are Japanese, and they're ridiculously sharp. Actually. almost too sharp. Make an investment, I promise you won't be disappointed. Leave the expensive plastic stuff in the stores and get a razor for MEN. Please.
