I put this on my kitty and it fit and worked great and I was very excited. Until he caught it in his mouth. Luckily I was home and could see that he was in a serious condition as he couldn't let go of his jaw and was panicking. I had to cut it off with scissors to avoid hurting it. I chose this because my cat always takes off the breakaway collars. But I don't think either option will work for him. Keep going if you can, because if this happens and you're not careful, it can get really bad very quickly.
