I received the right adapter for my laptop, but the plug is too long. It's about a millimeter longer and doesn't sit flush with the laptop. That's my only criticism. I bought this so I don't have to plug and unplug the original branded adapter every time I change rooms; One of the sockets is difficult to access and it is much easier to have the spare already plugged in and serviced. It is connected to the network 24/7 for a month and is used about 30-45 hours per week. There are no complaints about the work; The laptop stays charged and the adapter doesn't get hot. When you get a message that the adapter is bad, I sometimes get the same messages with the original branded adapter that came with the laptop (seriously, what is there?). But I don't get any of these messages if I wait for an adapter (any) to be plugged in before I turn on the laptop and it fully boots up.
