Review on Chicago Screws Leather Repair Fastener Crafting for Leathercraft by Amy Mcleod

The ten packages of Chicago screws I received contained eight screws. Of these three parts of the barrel, the threads were not cut to the end, so the screws did not fully penetrate. I used an 8-32 tap to get the threads all the way in and that fixed the problem. I paid for ten and got eight, three of which needed repairs to make them work. Also, they appear to be solid brass and once installed they do what Chicago screws are supposed to do. Improved Quality Control.
