For years I have wanted to upgrade my tower and center speakers which I have owned for about 18 years. I was lucky enough to have the budget to upgrade this year, and after researching and reading about the SVS Ultra series speakers, I took the plunge. great quality equipment. Basically, I've been an audiophile my whole life. For the price, these are easily the best speakers I've heard in their class. I bought two towers and a center channel from the Ultra series of piano glosses. When I played my first song it was TOOL's Fear Inoculum. I've played around with the volume levels in stages, looking for clarity, range, etc., and these speakers just blew me away. At louder volumes, these speakers really excel. There's absolutely no distortion when the volume is turned up, and it almost seems to get better. These speakers literally changed my life. When you listen to them, you seem to be hearing all your favorite music for the first time. I screamed with joy and really haven't stopped since they were installed in my house. Feel free to buy them. They are stellar and worth every penny.
