I used these bulbs on my daughter's blinds. She absolutely LOVES these lights and uses option 4 for her night light (which is the first and last light you see in the video). For them there is no light in the hallway! At first I was able to figure out the installation, but I just placed it as best I could and everything was perfect. There are hooks on the horizontal cord that can be attached to a curtain rod or hung over a curtain on the wall. I doubled the string by folding it in half so the bulbs would fall closer together. Otherwise there would be a large distance between each string of lights. The vertical lights that attach to the horizontal portion of the string are longer than their window, which I think is about 56" x 84", but I like the way they hang on the floor, so I left them there . The lamps are flat so I don't really understand how they can slow down even if you accidentally step on them. I would definitely recommend this product! Your child will love the Christmas effect, as my daughter would say in her room.
