I bought this pump in 2019 to replace the one that came with the house of Flotek and it was quite worn out. Very happy with the purchase so far. I will say that I received my pump with a broken part, probably because the box fell off during shipping. The wooden platform it was bolted to cracked and the pressure switch fitting was broken. No other damage was evident. I just installed this pump last week after flushing our well. I say that for 1 hp. It packs a big punch, more than I expected. I connected the pump to 220V after unpacking it. The old pump was 110V. The old pump was steel tubing up to the pump and I decided to replace it with a check valve and 80 gauge PVC tubing to ease disconnection. Not sure if it was a good idea for this pump but no problems so far. This well was in operation for 5 years, and the old pump worked on the old well much longer. It definitely does the job. The old Flotek struggled to build 40psi of pressure and it took almost 3 minutes. This pump easily generates 50psi of pressure and only runs for about 58 seconds. I use a 20 gallon bladder tank and my well is 20 feet deep with 18 feet of standing water in the line. The pump is about 20 meters from the well. I think it does the job very well.
