Love the idea of making cold coffee at night and taking it to work. Even in the winter, since there aren't many cool days here in Southern California, I prefer iced coffee to hot. Cold brew tastes fresher than coffee that's poured into a glass and kept in the fridge overnight. This little device works very well. Because the filter is so narrow, it's difficult to pour in ground coffee without spilling it, so I'll use a funnel next time. The rest of the process was easy. I used about the same amount as the 12 cup electric drip machine so you're pretty focused. Luckily I use a lot of milk in my coffee and my frother produces both cold and hot froth. The main improvements I would like would be an increase in capacity. I wouldn't want to dilute it any more than I already have, and at best get two cups of coffee with lots of milk from lots of ground coffee. I wonder what the result will be with more water capacity. Will he be too weak? Another improvement for me would be to use glass instead of plastic for the bottle. Going plastic-free is hard, but if you don't want to drink a cold drink straight from the bottle, why take it with you and drink it straight from the bottle? And if its main purpose is to sit in the fridge while coffee is brewed, wouldn't glass work just as well as plastic? I have a question that I asked on the web. A small white round lid-like item was included as an add-on, but I can't figure out how to use it. This is too small for a bottle once you remove the filter and cap. It doesn't fit snugly in the neck of the bottle and falls through so it doesn't look like a drinking cap. I have looked at the enclosed small booklet, as well as the instructions on the packaging and on the Internet and cannot find that it is shown, described or provided with a function as a part. Update May 2021: I only added one star because despite some flaws and the fact that the beautiful copper color has a nice amount of lid, I absolutely make my cold drink in this device! I use it at least once a week and it usually has enough coffee for three cups of iced coffee with milk because I've found that you can add water and put it back in the fridge overnight and it loses very little.
