I want to give this thing five stars but I still have to try it on patients first. However, for testing it on myself and my cat/dog it works great and can hear heartbeats quite well. Very loud and crisp sounds. I found out that my ear wax blocked off the sound so I had to adjust my head in a different way so I could get better acuity. So if anything, make sure you wars are wax free haha. But this is a great price and sounds quite good compared to the scopes I used in EMT School. For $35 I would buy this again and probably will. I never owned a Littman so I can’t compare the two, but I assume this scope will handle the job just fine since I am not planning on picking up the subtlest of noises as a nursing student.If your in college I highly recommend this option, it feels like it’s high quality and functions very well.
