These are great and I feel they are beneficial despite what the actual research shows about compression. I consider myself a case study. They will wear out after about 300 road miles though. They slowly lose their tightness. I would not recommend washing them with detergent because the decorative design ends up sticking together and then peeling off each other. My recommendation is a slightly thicker material. These are about 2 mm thick. Happy running!
