Let me start by saying that I am an electrician by trade. One day I pulled the switch out of my fan and started taking the fan apart to reattach the cable. Well it was broken down to the switch so I bought it to replace. I also bought some familiar cords with attachments, one labeled Fan, the other labeled Light to match. You can also order an additional chain length should your installation require additional length.
