This product is perfect for converting a mountain bike handlebar set into a beach cruiser. The Bontrager handlebar has a different thickness where it attaches. to the take away stand. The stem fits a 31.8 mm handlebar. The handlebars I bought to turn my bike into a beach cruiser are 24.6mm thick where it meets the stem. To mount a Beachcruiser handlebar to a Bontrager stem riser I needed a set of shims to fill the gap and these shims are perfect for the purpose. I was very happy to find these pads at Revain. Otherwise I would have had to replace the stem myself or find a bike shop to do it for me. Using a bike shop would cause problems when trying to match the various specs to my beach cruiser grip set. These pads have saved me TONS of headaches and MONEY.
