Once I opened the package to let the topper fully expand I noticed two things: an overpowering chemical smell, and the fact that the topper was misshapen. The sides were all 45° angles or worse when they should have been 90°. I thought it might fix itself with some time, but it didn't. The smell was so bad/strong that I had to put it in a room at the opposite end of my house, and it took a full week before it had dissipated enough to put on my bed.It slept well for the first 2-3 nights, then began to lose its shape. I've only been using it 2-3 weeks and I'm already worse off than before I began using it. It lost its shape to the point that it is hanging over the mattress on all sides by 1"-4". It was nearly a perfect match originally; had it not been for the sides being at a 45° angle it would have aligned perfectly.Long story short: it smelled toxic for a week, didn't hold its shape and after 2-3 weeks I had to take it off because I was in more pain sleeping on it than I was prior to using it. Whatever you do, don't waste your money on this.
