I wish it was possible to put zero or negative stars. These spiked legs are the worst quality product I've bought in a long time. I bought two packs for two speaker stands. In the first pack, the 3 nuts and inserts were screwed on correctly and matched perfectly. The 4th insert was miscut and the unthreaded lugs went in too far. I spent a lot of time threading this insert to make it work somehow. In the second pack, none of the inserts that went into the wood rolled properly. The nuts went all the way up and down the studs, but none of them screwed into the inserts, none. I wasted a lot of time and damaged the paint on all four spikes when I managed to screw the spikes into the sockets using only pliers. Obviously quality control wherever they are made is terrible or non-existent. I recommend everyone to find different spikes from different sources. I have ordered directly from Parts Express in the past but after this experience I will never order their products again.
