Review on πŸ’ Conair Pro Tourmaline Universal Finger Diffuser, Black: Perfect Styling Accessory for Effortless Hair Drying and Volume Boost by Tiffany Williams

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Low and slow. Buying is the only way to dry curly hair. No frieze style.

This is my lifesaver. I've been using this diffuser for over 20 years, it was replaced with a ceramic plate about 10 years ago, much better for my hair. The trick is to run at the lowest speed on low heat. Low and slow. I love how this diffuser turns my crazy curls into amazing curls. Okay, since writing this review I still love it more than any other diffuser. I tried them all including the black orchid! In some reviews, people report their devices melting. Trust me when I say you have to use low heat, it's plastic. If it gets too hot, your hair dryer may be too powerful. Try reducing power. I use a Revlon 1875 Volumizing hair dryer. This is the low heat base. Hair dryers aren't designed to force air through small appliances and can eventually overheat during everyday use, that's just physics. I buy a new hair dryer about 2 times a year and a new diffuser about 1 time a year. It's plastic and wears out. I believe the hair dryer is only $19 at Revain and the diffuser is $9-$15. Also, Revain is way ahead of me.
