Minimal shielding is best in networking products
The cable operates with dB loss and if it gets close to the camera power cable it will turn off. I was able to protect the coax cable with aluminum tape to keep it working. I routed the coax and power cable through a 1" hole and it didn't work until I made a makeshift shield.
