Lubegard is a real deal. The ONLY additives I trust for oil and transmissions. I added a bottle of Bio/Tech Protectant Oil to my 2002 Jeep to help with the piston strokes the engine has done over the last 80,000 miles. It's only noticeable on startup, but goes away as it warms up. Here in Vermont it can be -30 to -40 degrees in the winter. Lubegard reduces slap by 80% on summer and winter runs. Lubegard should adhere to pistons and cylinder walls and not drain when stopped. One of the few companies that always answers your questions (which is a must for me). Highly recommended.
