Woman decided to buy this kennel for your desert tortoises. I was a bit worried about some of the bad reviews about the packaging. But I ordered it because it is sold and supplied by Revain. The package arrived in fairly good condition. Only a small part of the package was damaged. Assembling the kennel is quick and easy. For assembly you will need a screwdriver and pliers (it's easier with a long nose). It probably took less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Pros: 1. Really easy to assemble. The only part I had to think about was installing the metal hinges. The instruction is not too clear.2. light enough for my wife to move it around the backyard.3. open top and removable bottom panels for easy cleaning Cons: 1. The only thing I doubt is the weatherproofing. I'm not sure how good a water seal is. Turtle droppings stained the wood a bit. I may need to reseal as another buyer recommended. Overall we are happy with this kennel and my wife is willing to buy another one for larger tortoises. Although the packaging was damaged in transit, the wood only has a small scratch. If necessary, the manufacturer offers spare parts.
