After the Samsung Tab A SM-T580 screen broke I looked for places to replace the screen but most repair shops are geared towards repairing phones . I watched some videos and decided to try the repair. The included tools broke pretty quickly when removing the back of the tablet. I suggest using a real guitar pick. To remove the screen I used a razor blade along with a heat gun to gently pry off the edges. Parties are much easier to start. I also used some playing cards to keep the sections open so the glass doesn't stick to the tray. The new touchscreen worked great! It's always nice when the first project goes well. I suggest taking your time and watching some videos online to see if you can pull through this.
