This product doesn't work!

I bought two of these devices and they do not support the connection and they do not transmit audio along with video over an HDMI connection. The product attempted to connect when external power was applied, but the picture freezes and there is no sound through the HDMI connection. Save money and buy the Apple version of this adapter. Any money spent on this product is just a waste.
