This is a great promising product but at normal water pressure the spray is at most levels aside from being almost off like a sand blaster and can cause bodily harm and a great deal of pain. Squatty Potty doesn't care, there is a drawing and description of the relief valve in the manual, but when you ask about this required part they say there was a typo in the manual and the relief valve isn't really needed. . Well if you don't have water pressure you might not need it, but with normal water pressure you need to use the full range of adjustment of the control knob. I hope no one gets hurt from this as without a pressure reducing valve this product should be considered defective and dangerous.
