We weren't sure about these, but purchased a number of sets for the dining room and have been very happy. We liked the design and needed chairs that would hold guests that were a bit heavy so we decided to give them a try. These are more comfortable than you'd think. The back is a bit springy, but we've gotten used to it after using them for a few weeks.The only issue we ran into was one chair showed up with the plastic inserted in the foot (to prevent scraping the floor) broken. Fortunately, we had ordered one extra pair as spares that will only come out when there's a larger party, so we glued the broken pieces together in one of the spare chairs and are hoping for the best if we have to pull it out to use it.These are very easy to put together, we knocked out 8 chairs in no time, just like an assembly line.
