I bought this product a year ago and it did the job of keeping my MSI GP73 keyboard in top condition! Yes, it blocks heat radiated from the keyboard, but I've never had overheating issues, especially on my laptop model since its heatsink and fan configuration is among the best at dissipating heat. Yes, after a year the keyboard cover plastic has deteriorated as the oil on my skin has slowly eaten away at the plastic, but it SHOULD HAPPEN! Some people complain that "you have to buy a new one every 6-8 months". Sorry but that means it gets the job done and imagine what your laptop keys would look like without it! If you can't afford to save ONE DOLLAR A MONTH to buy a new one, if you really can't stand what it's going to look like in 6-8 months, how could you even afford a gaming laptop? Get this if you REALLY care about your laptop. You will not be disappointed.
