Simple and strong as you can imagine

Works as easy as you thought. I'm almost sixty and was able to install them and tuck my heavy shelves into the wall to stay there! I use two of these shelves as flower pots so they are heavy as hell. These anchors do their job!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Security

OK BUT they break in the wall pretty easily

I used to buy a brand from Home Depot that I can't find anymore so I bought it. They do the trick BUT if you screw them into the wall with a hand drill or drill bit. Even at low torque and low revs, they tend to pop unless you stop a little sooner. The brand I used just kept working, never broke. Can't recommend these.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • boring packaging

Buyer Warning! Don't waste your $

Drilled a hole at first but only partially went in as other reviewers have photographed and shown. The second hole didn't go in, except drilling, a huge hole in the wall didn't do anything. Very disappointed I spent money on this item and now I have to spend money on the repairs it caused. Conclusion: Spend your money on something else because it's not worth it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Will not fit all

Love these self drilling wall anchors

These self drilling wall anchors have made my life easier. For example, hanging floating shelves are an easier task. By eliminating the need to drill holes, self-drilling anchors eliminate the need for a drill and reduce that inevitable annoying white dust. I was able to use my hand Phillips screwdriver to insert dowels and nails into my wall. I sincerely believe that these strong anchors, along with my homemade jig, allowed me to properly and securely hang my thick, heavy, wooden floatingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Not bad but...

The Best Drywall Anchors!

I will not use anchors other than these. I don't know why, but this brand of Toofix is superior to other drywall anchors that look exactly like them but break when screwed into the wall. I especially appreciate that, unlike the plastic anchors you can buy, they just twist back out of the wall when you want to remove them. No need to pry them out with needle nose pliers or worse, punch them through the wall panel, creating a much larger handle.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some little things

You can't hang anything without them.

We always use these drill bits for everything we cut into the wall. They are so easy to use and so durable. I never worry about things falling off the wall after using them. From giant heavy mirrors to wall sconces, these drills will support just about anything. It is a must in our house. We had to replenish our stocks and the price really went up. I found this deal on Revain and the price is amazing. The only complaint I would have is that they make a bigger hole in the wall than they appearโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Obsolete

Works as intended! - Drywall anchor

I used three of these to hang various things around the apartment. They all weigh less than 50 pounds, so I haven't fully tested their weight capacity. But so far they have been in the wall for 3 months and have been doing their job and I don't expect any problems. They can be screwed in by hand, but if you need it in a very precise, measured location, it's probably best to use a drill to create the pilot hole. This is because it takes a significant amount of force to screw it in, and if you do

Pros
  • Pre-drills a precise hole in drywall - No hole prep required
Cons
  • String is shorter than others

They are great for drilling small holes in drywall. . . but if you try that, I recommend using a hammer instead. The holes get bigger and you make them faster. Really, even for random, useless holes, these anchors are not suitable. The problem is that these anchors don't "pop open" behind the drywall. There is nothing that could hook the anchor to the drywall. So after putting the plastic anchor into the wall when I tried to insert the screw I couldn't get it all the way in because the anchorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Made from durable plastic to last for years. Easy to remove
Cons
  • Not safe
