These self drilling wall anchors have made my life easier. For example, hanging floating shelves are an easier task. By eliminating the need to drill holes, self-drilling anchors eliminate the need for a drill and reduce that inevitable annoying white dust. I was able to use my hand Phillips screwdriver to insert dowels and nails into my wall. I sincerely believe that these strong anchors, along with my homemade jig, allowed me to properly and securely hang my thick, heavy, wooden floating shelves.
