Review on 🔑 Ford Ignition & Door Lock Cylinders with Keys for 1992-1995 F150, F250 Pick Up by Eric Trask

I bought these locks on 11/21/2020. Back then the listing was for "OEM locks from the OEM lock manufacturer HURD" and was listed as such in the description. I purchased the set from an Auto Keys and Locks salesperson who was very helpful with the information I requested prior to ordering. This set was an exact match for the OEM locks I had taken from the doors. They were of very good quality. Then in July 2021 I was going to order a kit for another truck I have but due to the way Revain plays with prices I have moved the purchase to another platform with a more honest pricing approach. A seller on another platform who is also one of the sellers featured above in this same Revain listing told me that they are an OEM but the manufacturer is Stratec. I ordered them thinking I'd get the same product. I installed them the other day and noticed that the door locks don't look like OEM door locks in some ways. The way the chrome ring on the door lock attaches to the lock body leaves 4 small crush marks that are visible after the lock is installed. . They seem to work well and only time will tell if they are original quality. This is a very small detail but as I thought I was getting an OEM replacement this is a little disappointing. If I may edit this review when posting I will try to include a photo of the two locks I received. I only mention this because the product listings are being merged and a lot of inaccurate information is coming up. Be careful buyers. HURD made the original locks. Stratec manufactures AFTERMARKET. Find out what you're getting before you place an order with your chosen retailer. You may be disappointed I am very happy with the HURD replacement locks that I purchased through the Auto Keys & Locks dealer.
