I have several Glocks and friends have them too. On the Glock 48.1 I managed to remove and then install the standard adjustable rear sight. Lubricate the threads on the mount before use. I used Break Free.2. Slides with a stack already. I used a few pieces of leather to fill the gap and it protects the clasp.3. Make sure the pusher doesn't touch your slide! 4. Move slowly and watch closely. The first time I spent 20 minutes. I also adjusted the scope twice to make sure it was centered on the dovetail. I considered other removal methods but decided to get it right with the right tool.
