I was looking for a set of the same size reusable measuring spoons for measuring detergent and boosters. The measuring scoops provided by detergent manufacturers are designed to ensure you use more than you need, so you end up buying more detergent in the long run. When I use the measuring spoon that comes in the detergent package, the bottom line is 4 tablespoons and the second bottom line is 5 tablespoons. Using this amount of detergent will result in a build up of residue in the laundry, making it dirty and smelly over time. I have found that I only need one tablespoon of my regular Tide Plus Bleach powder detergent in my front loading machine, maybe two if I have a very messy load. Long handles are great for accessing the bottom of boxes and bins. A 5 pack allows me to keep a scoop in each of my products (I also use unscented baby detergent and occasionally the white Oxi Clean booster and then I also have borax). and laundry soda for towels and microfiber towels that regular soap doesn't get as clean) so I don't have to scoop out the scoop every time I do the laundry. The stainless steel construction is also very good. I've only had them a few days but the Endurance measuring spoons and cups have been in our kitchen for ten years now and they've held up beautifully and are pretty much identical.
