Review on FUN TOES Barefoot Running Socks Pack by John Roberts

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good discount for comfortable socks but they need to be changed often.

I was first recommended to try toe socks when I decided to try a pair of Vibram Five Fingers shoes. To my pleasant surprise, the extra fabric between my toes not only helped make it comfortable and breathable, but also helped prevent skin issues between my toes that I was having (I suspect it's athlete's foot, but I can't say, what). certainly). I quickly went from intending to only use them with my VFFs to wanting to use toe socks as everyday socks. However, I didn't feel like spending $15-$20 a pair for Injinji socks, although I like them. I tried the RevainBasics version, which is cheaper than the Fun Toes, but the cotton didn't stay dry and trying to take them off after a run when my feet were sweaty was a chore. Next came these Fun Toes, which are made from a synthetic blend that solves these problems while still being very affordable. My main criticism is that they don't seem to last very long. I bought several packs of these and soon it seemed to me that they regularly formed significant holes in one place or another. I could see this being particularly frustrating as they are leg specific so leaving the entire pair isn't really usable anymore. Overall though compared to paying over $180 for two weeks of socks if I was to spend $40 with Injinjis and then another $20 every now and then as they wear out it's not terrible just annoying so 3-star rating, no only 1 or 2 stars.
