Review on Custom LeatherCraft 1528 Electrical Maintenance by Corey Kim

I have been using this bag for many years. This is one of my favorites. But they changed the design so that the plastic container is no longer in the hidden bottom of the bag, but pushed out a bit on the side of the bag. The problem is that you now give up all the tool pockets on the sides of the bag. I used those tool bags and now they're gone. You will not get what is in the picture, visit the CLC website to see the picture of the new bag. it really sucks. I can't imagine what prompted them to make this change as it was a brilliant design with a small parts bin popping out of a hidden pocket at the bottom of the bag. Another comment I have is that the plastic tray at the bottom of the bag helped keep the bag in perfect shape so not only have I lost outside bags but bags often fell out of our service truck storage boxes. all bent and out of shape. They had never done this before, the container on the floor kept them still. I have five utility vehicles that come fully kitted out with several of these bags for a variety of electrical and low voltage work. Now I have to completely overhaul my system and I think I'll switch to wedge bags because they have one that works better for me. I really think CLC made a mistake in changing this bag like this.
