Good fan. Installation takes 1 to 1.5 hours, especially if you are removing an existing fan. Be sure to read all instructions before beginning installation and suggest unpacking and laying out items for easy access. Directions straight ahead. It's helpful to have a helper who can help pass the details on to you as you proceed with the installation. An assistant can also install the rubber bushings on the fan blades while you do other work. The fan blades are available in two colors: white and light natural wood. This fan has a slightly different design than most fans, with the motor being covered by a large cover rather than hanging under a smaller cover. This has an advantage: you don't have to cut the wiring in the small cover, there is enough space in the large cover. The device comes with 3 bulbs and is a nice treat. Installation tips: Always turn off the power on the power panel! I like to test existing wiring with an electrical tester before I start stripping existing wiring. Take photos of your existing wiring, especially if you have two switches to control the fan.
