Review on 🎧 Enhance Transcription Precision with the ECS WordHear-O USB Transcription Headset: Innovative Under-Chin Design by Tim Purdie

Beautiful sound, short lifespan

I haven't tested it because I've used it really wanted to use it for a while because it was my first USB set and I'm also used to headphones that last quite a while, well over a year and I wasn't sure about these. As others have said, the clip breaks, just like mine did 3 months ago. I can live with it. Yes, the controls are a bit stiff, but that really wasn't a problem. However, it's been less than a year since I bought it and today, April 3, 2016, I no longer have the stereo output and it's not the computer but the headphones. Luckily I still have a pair of SONY stereo headphones to plug into my speakers. They still work after two years of constant use. I really prefer these USB transcription headphones and they really make a huge difference in the sound. Actually I love the sound. So I'm not sure what to do at this point. If that's the norm for this type of headset, it's no good.

Pros
  • WordHear-O's dynamic audio playback on a premium integrated sound card easily transforms low-volume, low-quality recordings into crystal-clear audio files that can be transcribed immediately
Cons
  • For seniors
