I got this when my ISP (Charter Spectrum) told me my speed wasn't guaranteed unless I pay them $5 per month for Wi-Fi. Seeing the ridiculousness, I took this ethernet cable and routed it between the kitchen and living room where I spend most of my time. I kept it on the wall to avoid tripping over it by securing it with the clips provided and keeping it out of the way. I think I used about 35 of the 50 feet, but I'm just glad I didn't go with the 25 I was considering. It would be 22 feet in a straight line, but I had to put it sideways behind the fridge, bookcase, and drawer. Everything went surprisingly (for me) without any problems. I was thrilled that I got (and still get) 112 Mbps down and 11 Mbps outβmuch better than the 30 Mbps I got with Wi-Fi. I'll probably get another one or two for the company I have next month.
