As far as I remember I had the original red rag, a bit smaller and never had a problem from day one, but when I got this rag, was it still blue? Did what was recommended airing 48 hours. First try, it sucks and stains, especially noticeable on my freshly washed tinted windows, ah! Allow to dry on the brown kraft paper that Amazon uses to fill your orders. I did this for a week, taking turns whipping her face up, flat on her head, strands out, in, etc. I even put 5 pound weights on it once. The amount of what I'm guessing was wax was amazing. I changed the paper twice and these are huge chunks. They definitely soak this brush. So far seems to have taken care of the problem.
