i WAS hesitant to purchase this tool but I am so glad I did. The detailing on the carving blade is stunning and gives my leather projects a unique touch. As my tests showed it has a sturdy grip for precision work. the only downside is that it takes a bit of practice to get used to the weight and balance of the overall tool. Overall, a great addition to my Arts and Crafts tools collection..
