The notebooks are the right size for a pocket journal, and the pages are bound nicely, making them sturdy. They also have solid lines for writing, and each has 24 pages. Mine came in a plastic zipper bag, which keeps them all together and provided a place to store the ones I have yet to use.As a side, if you are looking for perforated paper, these are not the notebooks for you. I was not looking for perforations, so they are perfect for me. Also, the lines are dark. I like this, but if you prefer "soft" lines or blank pages, these notebooks are not for you.Overall, I am enjoying my purchase and using the notebooks for class notes and a place to jot down brainstorming ideas, where I do not need many pages, but want a separate notebook to keep things organized.
