I bought a 2 pack of the 5 hook units, one of the hooks on each unit was installed very crookedly, they looked terrible. The unhelpful seller said I should fix it myself. I returned the 2pk for a replacement, and the replacements had more crooked hooks than the ones I returned. those went back too.The wood itself seemed to be stained scraps with the edges mitered, which would be ok except; on the first batch the graining voids around the mitered edges were somewhat deep, but was acceptable for something intended to be rustic. On the replacement the graining was much deeper, like you might see from wood boring insects (no insects were present). Over time, that would likely result in breakage around the mitered edges, and it would probably snag or tear delicate fabric types.With the above issues being so apparent, I have to wonder about the stain they use. Will it rub off on my garments? Is it toxic? Will it flake off the surface over time? Is it particularly flammable?These would be overpriced at half of what they are selling for, best to avoid.
