Very happy with this purchase. I couldn't afford the cost of Chi so I looked for cheaper alternatives but good quality at the same time. This is theft. I've always liked and trusted Hot Tool products so I'm not surprised at how excellent this straightener is. I have very coarse and thick hair, for reference. I apply a little bit of thermal protectant and smooth it out in layers. Hair stays perfectly straight and smooth every time. I can also make small waves with it. I've definitely found my Christmas gifts for my sisters!
