The monitor itself is fine, I didn't notice any obvious problems, but the power cord and DisplayPort cable are irresponsibly short. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the included DisplayPort cable is so short that it might not even reach if you have a dual monitor setup, and that monitor is farther from your tower even if your tower is above. Your desk right next to it! I'm not even sure if it's a 3 foot cable. I had to purchase additional cables of reasonable length at the top of the monitor. Nothing bad, but the principle. But that's not the real problem... The real problem is the power cord, the power cord is so short that the cord ONLY reaches from my desk to the floor. I had to rearrange every power cord in my office to accommodate the fact that my monitor's power cords now extend just below the threshold of my desk. The power cord literally rotates 90 degrees and the only reason they achieve that is because the plug is quite large for a monitor, probably only 2-3 inches to reach the extension cord. Thought I might save some money as the reviews for this item were pretty solid and the deal was good. I wish I could spend a little more and get a more established brand with better support/peripherals. Can't remember what other deals were going on when I bought this but it probably wasn't worth it.
