I have small dogs and bought a small pool before. Although the height was good, the diameter was too small for more than 1 person to splash around in. This year I made a choice to grow up or go home. The large size is suitable for multiple small to medium sized dogs that are active and like to jump and move. My only dilemma is that the larger pool has higher sides (depth) than the smaller pool making it harder for them to get in and out. The construction of the pool is pretty solid and installation is very easy and I like that the material is strong yet soft. It folds easily for storage, and the drain helps with draining (if there was more drain, it could drain faster on its own). As my dogs are small I don't fill it completely so they can walk/swim/play without having to keep their head above the water level. The product is a bit pricey for dogs' seasonal activity, but seems sturdy enough to last through multiple seasons without having to throw it away before the end of summer. Pet friendly pool care tablets would be a great addition to this product which could be used overnight to protect the pool from algae so the pool does not need to be emptied and refilled as often (water$ and conservation).
