My puppy is a developing velcro dog which means he feels the need to be attached to me at all times. It was a struggle to tell her to lie down and relax every 5 minutes. Lots of things were thrown off my coffee table as she rushed to get to me as soon as I raised a finger. This short leash is the perfect solution. I can finally enjoy my dog walking with us and not having to look me in the eye all the time. This has already proven to be a great tool for teaching her to enjoy her own company and to understand that she doesn't have to be under my feet all the time. My dog doesn't like to chew on this leash, so I don't have to constantly check if he's chewing on the leash and not the right toy. Of course, this shouldn't be a permanent solution. Once my dog understands and is comfortable in his own space I think this leash would be perfect if we have little guests (she loves kids but becomes a complete nuisance) or clip it to my belt for when we go off to hand . free.Tl;dr:10/10, great training tool!
