Worth it for a shorter tie!

We've had 2 for a few months now and they're holding up great! I hate how expensive they are for the length. We live in an RV park and only needed 5-6 feet of zip ties so our dogs could be with us without getting tangled. They worked great and I'm glad you bought them.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Empty

Worked the way I wanted it to

This worked great all winter and I leave it outside all year. Very happy with it. The ports are very small, so hopefully that's what you're looking for. Our pup was only about 9 pounds when put on and the connectors were quite small so as not to weigh them down.

Pros
  • useful item
Cons
  • useless features

Great for a 43 lb dog!

This was exactly what I was looking for! I can take my dog to work every day, but he has to be tied to the table. This leash was the perfect length to give her some freedom while I left her on my desk. At 43 pounds I wondered if she was too big but she holds her perfectly. Will definitely be back as this one is old and worn out.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Best tie for us

This is great. I keep it and keep it in the foster dog kitchen. It's thin enough that a 10-pound Chi won't be weighed down by it, but strong enough that a 70-pound staff won't come loose. Use it to teach dogs of all sizes to sit, and the length means they won't get tangled. Neither of them were lucky enough to chew it. To be honest this is exactly what I needed.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great for kayaking with your pup!

I only bought this to tie my dog to a kayak while she learns to kayak with me. It's just the right size for him to be able to move up and down the board and even jump in the water and swim alongside the board without losing it. I attach the end of the carabiner to the handle in the middle of the paddle and the other end to his life jacket.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad

NOT for puppies! - Training and Behavior Guide

Ad says it's for puppies and 'chew resistant'. Whilst this may be true for the cable and hardware, the black rubber tabs on the cable are inexplicably soft rubber which were immediately crushed and partially swallowed by our 5 month old pup who was not even left alone with it. He easily and silently removed the rubber from the cable. His high quality hard rubber toys lasted two months; it should be designed better. May be suitable for adult dogs.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Damaged

Strong cable, thick shell, massive hooks. Thumbs up.

Used with a medium sized Labrador mix who likes to chew. The cord is more than strong enough to hold her or even a large dog. I was positively surprised by the robustness of the red plastic housing. She chewed on it for hours and didn't tear it all the way through, although she does tear up dog-safe toys like napkins. Both tethers feel solid and can withstand the intense pulling, nibbling, and sudden twitches as she tries to chase the squirrels and is restrained. they don't hurt themselves. A…

This resulted in pinching/cutting my pup and myself trying to free him.

This harness injured my 5 month old puppy's leg within 10 minutes of first use. He was tied to the leg of my chair and was under my constant supervision. He fiddled with the cable a bit, but everything seemed fine. Suddenly he started shrieking and jumped away with a carbine in his leg. I struggled to take it off as he kept screaming, cutting me in the process. He was horrified and so was I because at first I wasn't sure if I could remove it. The design looks great but the carabiner is sharp…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Minor repairability

Perfect fit for my dog with velcro

My puppy is a developing velcro dog which means he feels the need to be attached to me at all times. It was a struggle to tell her to lie down and relax every 5 minutes. Lots of things were thrown off my coffee table as she rushed to get to me as soon as I raised a finger. This short leash is the perfect solution. I can finally enjoy my dog walking with us and not having to look me in the eye all the time. This has already proven to be a great tool for teaching her to enjoy her own company and…
