won't stick to my floor tiles

I'm an artist and wanted to protect my tiles from paint. I scrubbed the floor thoroughly and unfolded the foil, expecting it to stick to both the floor and me. It's not like this. I had to use tape around the edges. i give it back If you are serious about protecting your floors, go to your lumber/hardware store and buy a board. This is recycled cardboard, 3 feet wide and 50 feet long. This is what I ended up using and I love it.
