I installed this light bar on my Polaris slingshot to help with the dark country roads around me. Installation was easy and I was able to connect it to the SPST switch with no problems. I used self tapping screws instead of the ones that came with the kit and they fit perfectly into the bumper. Turning it on at night my wife was very happy with the spread of light it casts. Note, however, that in most areas they are technically approved for off-road use only. In some cases, your state may also require them to be covered when driving on public roads. Another way to install this light is to connect it to the high beams with a relay so that it only comes on when the high beams are activated. I have found these to be very valuable and only time will tell how they hold up. Some cheap fins have a problem with water getting behind the lens. Many reviews say this light doesn't happen and I hope that's true. If you need a small strip of light that illuminates the road very well, then feel free to buy this strip.
