Review on 🌟 Amerelle Century Antique Copper Single Rocker Steel Wallplate by Masud Taylor

Screws that are too short are an installation nightmare

I thought this would be an easy and not too expensive upgrade for my home. Boy was I wrong. These are not standard sizes - neither the outlet cover itself, nor the screws. The screws themselves are the biggest problem. The ones supplied are much shorter than those used for standard wall panels. After trying to mount them on three different sockets to no avail, I had to order antique copper finish and swap them out for the existing screws. Which made this project horribly time consuming, not to mention more expensive than planned. Wall panels are also thinner than standard sizes, so this can be an issue. Fortunately, this was only a problem at a few outlets. I had to pour grout on the side of the outlet to fill the gap. However, this has become another time-consuming detail. I would not recommend them. The parts savings chosen by the manufacturer are enough to cause problems and costs well beyond what is reasonable. Knowing this, I will never buy this brand again.
