I bought this fridge for my father who commutes two hours a day to work. I used to pack it with ice packs and only frozen food, but it got a little painful. Then I stumbled upon it one day while searching for Revane. I've seen you can plug it into a car charger and the food stays cold. I bought the blue version of this and it arrived in two days. It was well packed and I unpacked it. I couldn't find the connector, but then I saw that it was neatly tucked away in the rotating cap at the top. I hooked it up to see how it would work someday. It really kept my food cold. I was excited. This is my new cooler that I use every day. I like the size so I'm fit with a large drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I place it between the two seats in the front of my Toyota Sienna, or you can place it behind the seats in the back and the connector comes all the way forward. I've never used a heating pad, but I'm looking for a time, maybe at a picnic, that this feature will come in handy. I highly recommend this product for car trips, commuting, or any trip where you want your food to stay cold.
