When I first saw this product on Revain I said to myself "this is what I need for my new computer case". When I received it I confirmed that I was absolutely right . The item arrived quickly and was well packaged in an anti-static bag in a sturdy brown box. Each strip is 20 inches long but can be cut as needed to create a custom layout (you will need to do some soldering and additional wiring to do this). For my computer case, I cut them into five pieces to get the desired lighting effect. Because you can cut the strips, you can place them anywhere in the computer case and get the custom lighting you want; that's definitely a plus. Various modes are supported, such as B. direct color selection (white, blue, red, green, purple, etc.), color transition, color flashes and more. Three of my favorite features are brightness control, color transition and ON/OFF function. These LED strips will not increase your computer's case temperature or power consumption, so just turn them on and enjoy. Connecting to a power source is easy; to avoid reverse polarity).b) Connect the Y connector input to the LED controller (match the arrows to avoid reverse polarity).c) Connect the LED controller to Molex to DC connector d) Connect Molex to DC connector to empty Molex connector from your power supply. If your PSU doesn't have one, just buy SATA Connector (Male) to Molex Connector (Female) online at a very cheap price. The RF signal from the remote is strong, I was able to control the light from about 25 feet away from my computer (line of sight). I have a suggestion for the manufacturer: instead of having 4 equal sized round contacts and arrows to indicate the common one, why not make the common contact larger than the other 3? This would make the reverse polarity situation impossible. I will not stop recommending this product.
